Since I am always asked about the jeepneys I thought I would just take come pictures of them. The original jeepneys were WWII jeeps that were converted into mini-busses. As you can see they have come a long way since then. The guys riding on the back are responsible for filling the jeepney. Since the jeepneys are not publicly owned there will often be more than one going to the same place. In that case the guy on the back has the responsibility of getting you onto HIS jeepney.
