Paradisus Playa Conchal
I'm not a resort-giuded tour kind of a guy but with my kids along I thought I ought to do something a little more conventional. This is by far the most beautiful resort I have ever seen. For a couple of day I actually thought I should be vacationing like this all the time-for a few days, then I got bored with it.
The pictures can not really describe the pool, only about 1/4 of it is actually shown. Because of the vegetation and layout, it was like swimming in a lagoon but with clean water. And of course you can not swim up to the bar and pick up a Piña Colada in a lagoon.
I think the shake lady was our favorite person in Costa Rica. Every morning she was there at breakfast making mango shakes and papaya shakes and mellon shakes and any other kind of shake imaginable. Every morning Alex and I would have at least 2 shakes. She kind of took a liking to Alex and started introducing him to new fruits. The last morning Alex was so upset about not having any mores shakes that he had 7 or 8 of them. Then when we left the restaraunt he sat down on the curb and threw them all up.
