The Beach at Playa Conchal
The beach in Costa Rica was unusual in that in some places the sand was white from crushed sea shells and in some places the sand was black from volcanic rock. In most places the beach is lined with a row of short trees and beach vendors would set up their booths there. Off shore were scattered islands made from volcanic rock launched from nearby volcanos in the past.
There was a catamaran available to people staying at the resort and we took it out in the ocean a coouple of times.
